(영어회화주제) 냉방병
It gets very hot outside in the summer. To maintain a pleasant atmosphere indoors, people keep the A/C running all day. It's the same everywhere, including homes, public facilities, and commercial buildings.
But if you stay in an air-conditioned place for too long, you can catch air-conditioning sickness. Lots of people get cold symptoms because they are exposed to too much cold air. Common symptoms include getting a runny nose, feeling light-headed, or having a sore throat. Many people even need medical treatment because of these symptoms.
To prevent getting sick, it's best to avoid staying in air-conditioned places for extended periods. It's also bad for the temperature difference between indoors and outdoors to be too big. It's best to keep the indoor temperature at a suitable level.
